BREAKING: Khairul Asyraf has been named as the new Head Coach of Eunos Crescent Football Club following the club's announcement that it had parted mutually with former Head Coach Mohd Mardani earlier this afternoon.
According to a post on the club's Facebook page, the change was initiated after a lacklustre start to the NFL Division 1 champion's title defence so far. Eunos Crescent have lost both of their opening matches and currently sit in tenth spot in the standings.
Khairul, who is also the Managing Director of 2Touch Soccer School, was a former COE Youth Coach with Tanjong Pagar United, Woodlands Wellington and Balestier Khalsa and currently possesses an AFC 'B' license. His fellow 2Touch Soccer School director, Khidhir Khamis, is also involved in Eunos as their U21 developmental team's Head Coach.
The 33 year old gaffer will face his first test when Eunos Crescent take on Police Sports Association at Bukit Gombak Stadium this Saturday.
