Vanuatu Under-20s To Have Training Camp In Singapore

Note: The venue for the Singapore U22 vs Vanuatu U20 on 4th May has been changed to Choa Chu Kang Stadium.
The Under-20 Vanuatu squad will be conducting a training camp in Singapore as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, which will take place in South Korea between 20 May and 11 June 2017.
The training camp will see the young Ni-Vanuatu playing three matches against the Singapore Under-22 and Under-20 National Teams and the Singapore training camp will be held from 30 April to 8 May 2017.
The Singapore Under-22 National Team will be playing two friendly matches on 1st and 4th May against the Vanuatu Under-20 National Team while the Singapore Under-20 National Team will play in the third friendly match against them on 7th May.
Supporters of Hougang United FC would be delighted to see 21 year old Lionel Tan called up to the squad after the young defender put in a string of solid performances at the back for the Cheetahs this season. Hanafi Akbar's inclusion in the side also means that there would be a tough jostle for the first team spots in a positive looking Singapore Under-22 side.
